Director

Having grown up in Verwood, Nolan joined the family business over 20 years ago and now runs the office on a day to day basis and takes personal responsibility for helping his clients move home.

After leaving school, Nolan worked in graphic design and marketing and it is these skills, along with his IT knowledge, that ensures that Irving and Sons are the most innovative estate agents in area.

Nolan has three young boys to keep him busy outside of work and loves family life, a wide range of sports and everything about living in Verwood.

Director

Founder, Phil Irving and his wife Barbara settled in Verwood in the early 1970’s. Phil, a qualified conveyancing lawyer, came to run the newly opened office of a local law firm and they soon realised that this friendly and vibrant community was where they wanted to put down roots and raise their family.

In 1983 Phil gave up law to join a friend in his local estate agency and in 1985 Phil and Barbara opened Irving and Sons.
Phil & Barbara have both been heavily involved in the local community for nearly 40 years with Phil having been the President of the Community Association for over 25 years and having served for six years as an elected Town Councillor.

Director

Having lived in Verwood for over 40 years, Barbara has had a varied careerer running several businesses locally and along with her husband Phil, opened Irving and Sons in in 1985.

Barbara is a director of the business and takes over-all responsibility for the day to day running of our residential lettings office.

In her spare time, Barbara enjoys horse riding and playing golf as well as spending time her nine grandchildren.

Sales Manager

Sarah has worked within the estate agency industry for 25 years, 22 of those being in Verwood.

Sarah has lived in Verwood for 35 years, has two grown up sons and enjoys being part of the local community.

Sarah uses her wealth of experience and knowledge of the Verwood property market to provide our clients with the very best valuation advice and sale management.

Sarah understands how stressful moving can be and is always on-hand to guide you through to process and she takes pride in keeping all parties fully updated at all times.

Clare has lived in Verwood for over fifteen years, has raised her boys here and is delighted to be able to work in the town that she calls home.

Clare joined our team after spending many years working for an international investment bank in a senior management role within client services. Clare has always been passionate about property and even holds a qualification in interior design. Along with this, Clare is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to her property clients.

Outside of work, Clare's other passion is music and in her spare time she is a professional singer entertaining people at weddings and charity events.

Having grown up in Verwood and attended the local schools, Jess has since spent time working in the hospitality and catering industry.

Jess now applies her experience in customer service to her role within our Lettings Department where she has proved to be a real asset to both landlords and tenants, as well as Irving and Sons as a business. Jess has recently completed her studies in residential estate agency.

Piers LaFosse is one of the areas most experienced letting and sales agents having spent nearly 25 years letting and selling homes throughout the local area. In October 2020 Piers joined our "Award "Winning" team and adds his wealth of knowledge to our already very successful family-run business.
